Data Hub Connections

Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs uses data replicated through Data Hub. Connections, replication tasks, and business views are set up and managed in Data Hub, typically by a Data Hub administrator. Once this setup is complete, your connection is available to select directly in Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs and Query Designer.

Beginning with 26.3, connections created in Data Hub are automatically available to select in Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs and Query Designer. No additional configuration is required.

Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs supports the following ERP systems through Data Hub:

  • Oracle ERP Cloud
  • NetSuite
  • Infor FSM
  • Infor M3
  • Oracle EBS
  • Oracle JDE
  • Viewpoint Vista On-Premise
  • Viewpoint Spectrum

  • MRI Horizon
  • Yardi Voyager On-Premise
  • Syspro
  • Deltek Vision

Prerequisites

Confirm the following have been completed in Data Hub before continuing.

A connection to your ERP system has been set up in Data Hub

Replication tasks have been created and have run successfully

Replication tasks must run successfully before Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs or Query Designer can access your data.

Use your Data Hub Connection

Once the prerequisites are complete, your connection is available to select directly in Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs and Query Designer.

Important: If a connection with the same name already exists locally, the Data Hub connection appears in the list with a "-dh" suffix (for example, "NETSUITE_B2C-dh") to distinguish it. Both connections remain usable.

In Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs

  1. Open Excel and go to Reporting Intelligence Settings > Ledger Specifics > Designer GL.
  2. From the Connection Name drop-down list, select your Data Hub connection.

Your Data Hub connection is also available when selecting a connection for an EDQ or Query Formula in the Formula Builder.

In Query Designer

  1. Open Query Designer and select New Query, or open an existing query.
  2. Select your Data Hub connection from the connection list.

Your Data Hub connection is also available when updating connections in bulk from Update All Connections.

Testing note: This behavior has been verified against a NetSuite connection. Testing against the other 26.2 and 26.3 ERPs is in progress.
