Connections

Other ERPs - this article only applies to Reporting Intelligence for other ERPs

A database connection is required to process Query Designer queries (GEXQ, GEXD, GEXS, or GEXI formulas or subqueries). Create and maintain connections in Application Configurator, or in Data Hub if your connection uses Data Hub. Data Hub connections appear automatically in Query Designer without additional setup. View and test connections in Query Designer.

  1. From the Query Designer ribbon, select Tools > View all test connections. The Test Connections panel appears.

  2. Select a connection from the list, and click the Test button. A message appears indicating whether or not the connection was successful.
